Book Review: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows by Rowling, J. K. [Hardcover]Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows by Rowling, J. K. [Hardcover] by J.K. Rowling

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The final books of any large series of books is always my absolute favorite of the novels. This is the moment where everything comes together and converges on the one possible climatic outcome, and J. K. Rowling did not let me down.

As Harry, Ron, and Hermione search the magical world over for the hiding places of Voldemort’s stored souls (horcruxes), everything is coming to a head at the Ministry of Magic and at Hogwarts. Even in Hogsmeade, people are resisting and beginning to fight back against Voldemort and his minions as they can.

This is the most epic of magical battles as Harry, Ron, and Hermione fight him first with logic as they determine his hiding places, then with force as they come to Hogwarts to find the Ravenclaw horcrux, and end up removing the Death Eaters from the premises at the same time.

This is an definite must-read. It will take you through the full emotional range–from revolutionary spirit to loss and sadness. Please don’t resist the urge to read this book.

Can’t wait to start the series myself. Although I’ve seen all the movies, I’m sure the book has so much in store for me. Soon.. Soon. Soooo many books to read ! 😀
