Hello! My name is J. C. Cauthon. I am a writer of nonfiction creative writing prompt collections and other writing-related books. I have been writing for as long as I can remember, beginning with my first “published” book in kindergarten. Okay, it wasn’t really published, but the teacher did bind it up nicely for me to give to my parents. They still have that copy somewhere.
I offer free daily writing prompts, information on the writing process, and other writerly advice on my website. You can find all of this at: https://jccauthon.wordpress.com/.
You can also sign up for my mailing list to learn about new publications as soon as they are available on Amazon: https://www.subscribepage.com/jccauthonnonfiction
You can find me most places on the web, but I tend to stick to only a few social websites. If you want to see the inspiration behind my projects, you can check out my Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/cauthonj
If you want to see more of my day-to-day happenings, you can follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jccauthon/ or on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jccauthonwrites
If you want to see what I have recently published, some reviews of my books, and what I am reading, you can visit my author page on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/J-C-Cauthon/e/B00OS99BP4
You can also leave me a note or ask me a question about my current project: cauthonj@outlook.com
That is all, folks! I’m glad to meet you, look forward to chatting with you all, and I hope that you all enjoy.

Thanks for liking my blog post. It is the first on my new blog, just set up hours before you read it! I haven’t even had time to find a more appropriate banner image than the one that comes with the theme.
I’m working on my memoir and will be sharing information about my life – pieces that don’t fit within the arc of my journey from adventure-seeking young woman to a middle-aged woman with a mission. I hope you’ll check back again soon.

Hi, thanks for visiting and liking. Just want to say it was a bigger shock to see someone like yourself, an actual writer to take out some time and read what I wrote. So thank you.

Hey, I’m a North Carolinian too! (Durham) Even though I’m a Northwesterner now, it’s great to get to “know” you, fellow tarheel-writer. Thanks for visiting Wing’s World!

I was a Midwesterner for about two years, then I had to come back home with my family in tow. Thanks for stopping by!

I’m still trying to figure out how my month already looks in February. I don’t want to commit now, only to have to back out once I learn that February is way too busy to keep up with everything I have obligated myself to do. I’ll let you know soon if I am in.
